Sukhothai Day Trip from Chiangmai

Tour start 06.00 am. Make a long drive trip from Chiangmai to sukhothai, serviced by comfortable vehicle. 07.00 am. Pick up customers from hotel in chaingmai, heading to Sukhothai Historical Park contains the ruins of old Sukhothai city. Start bicycle around the park for App.2hours. The capital of the Sukhothai Kingdom was founded in 1238. Dozens of well preserved and restored monuments dating back to the 13th until 15th centuries are found in a well maintained park like setting with lakes, ponds and trees. The park is much less visited than better known historical sites as Ayutthaya and Angkor.

The historic town of Sukhothai were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991.
